Ice skating lessons at the 2nd grade of primary schools

This bachelor's thesis on the topic of Teaching ice skating in the lower-secondary schools focuses on the course of teaching ice skating in the lower-secondary schools. The main goal of the work was to map and analyze the teaching of ice skating at elementary schools and creating a suitable methodology with the help of literature, including the results of the research part. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the analysis and criticism of the literature devoted to the teaching of ice skating and ice skating in general. This part focuses on the characteristics of ice skating, a brief outline of history of ice skaing, ice skating sports, characteristics of the older school age, on Rámcový vzdělávací plán and its concept of ice skating and on the personality of the teacher/coach. The research part is based on a questionnaire survey. The questionnaires were sent electronically to elementary schools and their purpose was to find out how skating lessons are conducted at the approached elementary schools and how and where are the lessons provided. Thanks to the questionnaires and literature a suitable methodology for the lower-secondary schools was created.
